Morpha Chair

The development of the Morpha chairs for the URBAN NATION Museum, “the Temple of Urban Art” in Berlin, was a collaborative effort with Artisan, one of the most prominent companies known for producing high-quality, hand-crafted furniture from solid local wood. Made from walnut and finished with natural oil, the chairs embody elegance and craftsmanship.

A unique feature of the Morpha chairs, along with other seating elements in the exhibition spaces, is that they offer visitors a moment where they physically “merge” with the museum interior. The design challenge was to create a piece that is both elegant and seductive, while remaining unobtrusive to ensure the artwork takes center stage as the focal point of the space.
