Fiona Sindjelic founded House of Nuances in Berlin and still leads every project as principal designer. After more than a decade in luxury residential and commercial design, she has one firm conviction: a room should know who lives in it.
Our work takes us across Europe and the United States, for clients who care about quality and notice when it is missing. We design for them the way we would for ourselves: carefully, honestly, and with no interest in what happens to be fashionable this season.

About House of Nuances
Good design rarely announces itself. It is in the way light falls across a wall at four in the afternoon, the weight of a door handle, the fact that everything is exactly where your hand expects it.

Our Process
1. Discovery
We begin with a conversation about how you live, what you need and what you secretly want. Everything that follows is built on it.
2. Concept Development
We turn that conversation into a concept: mood boards, spatial plans and materials you can see and touch before anything is ordered.
3. Refinement
You react, we adjust. We keep refining until the design feels like yours and still holds together as a whole.
4. Implementation
Then we take over the unglamorous part: ordering, deliveries, contractors and the site. You get progress updates, not problems.
5. Final Touches
Last, we style the rooms, straighten the final picture frame and hand over a space that is ready to live in.
