Private Apartment 01-M

Curved elements in interior design, often associated with the mid-century modern era of the 1940s to 1960s, inspired the design of this apartment. In that period, curves were used to create organic forms and soften geometric spaces, adding fluidity and a sense of openness. Drawing from this inspiration, we blended mid-century modern influences with contemporary, timeless Italian furniture to design a harmonious and inviting home.
Curved wooden edges play a pivotal role, softening the transition from the entry hallway into the main living and dining areas.

For the material palette, we paired taupe with camel and tobacco-toned leather, warm grey velvet, matte black metal accents, travertine stone, and natural oak wood. Taupe serves as the base, complementing all other tones and adding warmth without overwhelming the space. The result is a home that feels cohesive, modern, and effortlessly inviting.
